About This Product
Northeast of La Cascada in the municipality of San Fernando northeast of Dipilto, there lies El Bosque, a 42-hectare farm planted with 100% Arabica excellent cupping varieties. The farm stretches out over three long hillsides. If you are fortunate enough to be here on a clear day, you can look into the valley and see everything from Honduras to
the north to the tobacco farms to the south. The wet mill at El Bosque is an efficient and eco-friendly Penagos UBC2500 wet mill that operates with very little water and is powered by renewable energy. Because of the multiple water sources that originate within El Bosque’s
112-hectare forest area, they are able to run a 15kwa hydroelectric generator, which provides electric power to the entire farm. El Bosque is a Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee farm and produces exclusively shade-grown coffee. The average annual production for this farm is 1200 69kg bags.
Cupping Notes: Banana, blueberry, milk chocolate, pineapple and lavender.
